MANIFESTO

The game is a political space: it tells stories of people who invent practices of freedom, preserve collective memory and practise mutual aid.

Technology

Version 1.0 was built with Unreal Engine 5, with open asset pipelines and development on GitHub. Previous versions (UE5) remain available and downloadable.

From now on, development continues with Godot Engine 4 — open source, lightweight and cross-platform. New chapter, same DIY philosophy.

  • Simulation based on the lived experience of a punk in Europe
  • Bring the game to as many platforms as possible and release a mobile version
  • Customise your game for a more personal experience

Free parties are built on the concept of free access and self-management. They are organised outside commercial circuits, in stark contrast to mainstream music and large industrial festivals. Being "free" is not only about the absence of cost, but also about the idea of horizontal participation and collective creation. Do It Yourself (DIY): a philosophy that permeates these events, where every participant actively contributes.

Being "free" is not only about the absence of cost, but also about the idea of horizontal participation and collective creation.

TAZ — Temporary Autonomous Zone
The term TAZ was introduced by anarchist philosopher Hakim Bey (pen name of Peter Lamborn Wilson) in his 1991 essay. It refers to a form of resistance to the control structures of the state and capitalism through the creation of temporary spaces of freedom.

A TAZ is a physical or symbolic space in which rules and control structures are suspended. Its purpose is not to permanently subvert the system, but to create a temporary "bubble" of freedom where people can express themselves without constraints. It operates on principles of self-management, self-organisation and mutual aid.

Connection with raves and free parties: Raves and free parties are perfect examples of TAZ, as they take place in ephemeral locations and evade institutional regulation. They dissolve before they can be assimilated or repressed, leaving a cultural and symbolic imprint.

Philosophical impact: The TAZ represents an anarchist experiment, where creativity, collaboration and individual freedom are central. It is a model for new forms of resistance and organisation in contemporary society.

Free parties and raves become in this project a form of liberation: temporary spaces where artists and communities self-organise, build horizontal relationships and share creativity outside the market.

The core philosophy is DIY. This game is an invitation to participate, build and spread together, not as a spectator but as an actor.

❤ THANK YOU

To all the squats and social centres that resist every day.

To those who played music at dawn without asking why.

To those who believed this game was worth making.
